Registration is on a “first come-first served” basis Club Coach, Regional Coach, Provincial Coach, National Coach and CanPowerSkate courses are offered but they are subject to cancellation based on number of applications. Course times usually run from 8 am to 5 pm daily.
In response to an extensive evaluation by Skate Canada, the program has been going through a major re-development – key changes is a shift in emphasis from “what a coach knows” to “what a coach can do”. In the new, competency-based system, training and certification programs are based on the clearly defined needs of participants. This new structure addresses the full range of sports in Canada at various levels of skill and in a variety of settings. See Skate Canada – Coaching for details.
Class Limits: Minimum of 15 registrants – Maximum of varies per course (typically 30 applicants).
All Skate Canada Coach courses are standard throughout Canada and can be taken in any section.

Pre-Course Online Module: All registrants who are planning on taking the Club Coach (CanSkate ) Course must complete the Coach Club (CanSkate) Pre-Course Module successfully.
Instructions on how to complete this pre-course module will be provided through email after registration.

General Subjects must be successfully completed prior to enrolling in any Level 3 technical courses (Singles, Pairs, Dance, or Synchronized Skating).
Registration will not be offered for the current season.
